Brian Kletscher has served as the CEO for Highwater Ethanol, LLC since November 1, 2008. Prior to this Kletscher was the President of the Board of Highwater Ethanol from its inception in May 2006 to his hiring as their CEO. Kletscher has served as the Minnesota Bio-Fuels Association's Board President since 2011.

Kletscher served as a Redwood County Commissioner from 1997 – 2009. During this time he served on numerous Board Committees including Budget and Finance, Personnel Committee, Labor Negations, Technology, Local and Regional Solid Waste Boards, Regional Landfill Board, State of Minnesota Solid Waste Advisory Board, Minnesota Resource/Recovery Association {Chairman}, Redwood – Renville Board of Health, Association of Minnesota Counties {AMC} District 8 Chairman for seven years, AMC Board of Directors for seven years, Rural Minnesota Energy Board Chairman representing 17 Counties, Was appointed by Governor Tim Pawlenty to represent Counties on the MN Board of Water & Soil Resources.

Kletscher was a Corn & Soybean Producer in Redwood County from 1979 – 2008.
