At 64.38 million gallons, E15 sales in Minnesota have exceeded 60 million gallons for the first time and surpassed the then record 59.4 million gallons sold for the whole of 2018.

In October, E15 sales in the state hit an all-time monthly high with 7.12 million gallons sold. It was the second time monthly E15 sales in the state have exceeded 7 million gallons.

The first time it surpassed 7 million gallons was in May this year (7.007 million gallons).

E15 sales in October was also 32 percent higher than the volume in October 2018 (5.37 million gallons) and 9 percent higher than E15 sales in September 2019 (6.52 million gallons).

As for E85, sales in October was 1.33 million gallons, slightly lower than the 1.45 million gallons sold in September.

On a cumulative basis, E85 sales in Minnesota this year as of Oct 31 was 12.61 million gallons.
